1050 WWIC is Jackson County Alabama's first radio station, going on the air June 13, 1950 and continuing a tradition of great radio and public service to Scottsboro and Jackson County.  As of the summer of 2021, WWIC Radio is the only radio station with full-time offices/studios/operations located within Scottsboro and Jackson County Alabama.

WWIC 1050 Radio is a locally owned and operated small business, just like many of those in our city and county.  The station is owned by Greg and Angie Bell.  We are confident that we can help your business with it's marketing and advertising.  WWIC 1050 Radio has a very loyal listener base that is also extremely loyal to the advertisers on the station.
